From playing with legos to writing my first line of code at 11 I have always been a builder at heart. My first software engineering internship was at QHR Technologies where I worked on performance improvements for the Accuro EMR. This experience crafted my obsession to optimise everything.
In 2022 I joined Montra as a frontend developer but transitioned into an infrastructure role building the foundations of their video processing pipelines. I saw the team grow from four people to ten to five. After a year, I decided to take a leap of faith and launch my own company.
After a few failed projects, I finally launched Ringer Communications. With the rise of voice AI I tapped into my knowledge of business phone systems from my time doing customer support during highschool.
I joined Clover Labs in February of 2025 after their CTO abruptly left. This put the team in a difficult situation of managing enterprise customers, maintaining the platform and shipping new features. I initially performed bug fixes and implemented highly requested features.
After my first 2 weeks I started noticing certain issues with the platform such as webhooks randomly failing, database calls taking several seconds and most shockingly a $948 bill from Vercel. I knew as we continue to grow this number would skyrocket.
After a day of deep research, I found the endpoints costing us the most and was able to take our cost from nearly $1000 to $200.
I speak about the technical details on my LinkedIn post here.
